Peoples’ first impressions about islands may be that they are not easy to get too, this is not the case in regards to Murter. The island of Murter is conveniently located in the heart of Dalmatia between Zadar and Split, which both have daily international flights.
It has never been easier to get to the island of Murter from many major cities in Europe and North America. Ryanair is currently offering flights to Zadar’s airport from 17 locations from all over Europe and daily international flights to Split’s airport from America and Canada.
For our guests from North America that are looking to come to the island of Murter, I would recommend the cheapest of the two airports, being Split.
Split’s airport is the second biggest airport in Croatia with the second most amount of international daily flights. Another option and might be the cheapest one is flying into Zagreb, Zagreb’s airport is the biggest airport in Croatia and the largest amount of daily international flights. Although Jamming Adventures does not provide airport transfers from Zagreb to the island of Murter, there are daily buses from Zagreb’s main bus station to Murter, it’s about a 5-hour bus ride and costs around 25 USD. There is also plenty of rental car options, it is a 3 hour and 40-minute drive with using the main A1 highway.
