Hiking in Croatia

There are many reasons why people love hiking in Croatia, most of the time it is free, being alone in nature, discovering hidden gems and the breathtaking views when reaching the summit of a mountain. These are just some of the motives behind adding a day hike in Paklenica National Park.

On the One Week Tour, there is only one day of hiking in Paklenica but it is possible to do a multi-day trip in the park. Numerous beautiful views on all different peaks will captivate you due to their close proximity to the Adriatic Sea. Generally, the terrain is rocky but there is an abundance of forest and water holes to cool off after a long hike.

Paklenica National Park is also popular among rock climbers, with easy access to Velika Paklenica (the big canyon) which has endless routes for all skill levels. Another luxury of Paklenica is to take a dip in the warm Adriatic Sea only minutes away after a long day of hiking or climbing.
